Lahinch Golf Club will be hosting the 2019 Dubai Duty Free Irish Open
Poor weather conditions on Friday morning did not dampen the spirits of members and their guests as they headed out onto the links to participate in our 125 Member/Guest weekend. After two days of golf, over 350 people joined us for the BBQ and Pig on a Spit in the clubhouse on the Saturday night followed by music from The Shaun O’Dowd Show featuring Marion. It was a wonderful weekend and was a fitting end to our 125 anniversary celebrations at Lahinch Golf Club.
Lahinch Golf Club was delighted to host IGWA as part of the Clubs 125 anniversary celebrations on 23 August 2017. Ireland’s leading golf journalists enjoyed a challenging day on the Old Course followed by dinner in the clubhouse. Padraig Slattery, Captain, presented our guests with a copy of the Clubs 125 History Book – ‘125 Years of Golf at Lahinch’.
Padraig Slattery’s Captain’s Prize was held over the August bank holiday weekend with Robert Kennedy coming out on top following a layoff with Kieran McDermott.
23 South of Ireland Champions travelled to Lahinch to celebrate the Club’s 125th anniversary. Paul McGinley (1991 Champion) spoke to a large gathering of junior members prior to Dinner in the clubhouse.
